Hold On Tight
Last month I touched on the subject of “letting go” -releasing all that we have no control over. Letting go of past events, situations, or worries. Letting go of guilt from sins that Jesus took care of 2000 years ago. Since then, I’ve been pondering the opposite view, because I realize that although there is much we need to let go of and release, there are also some things that are worth fighting for, worth hanging on to – as if life depended on it. The Rest of the Story
Since I started this blog last spring, I utter a constant prayer throughout each month, “Lord, what do you want me to write about this time?” I try to keep my eyes and ears open to His leading for a topic. Pain: Friend or Foe?
I have a new “friend” in my life. Day after day he’s with me in varying degrees. Sometimes more obvious, sometimes more subtle, but always there. On my good days, I try to ignore him, careful not to irritate my constant companion. On bad days, he can’t be ignored. Pain is his name. Recently our family moved to another house.
